Breaking: Belarus preparing to invade Ukraine

Breaking: Belarus Preparing To Invade Ukraine, To Host Nuclear Weapons, As Russia’s widely condemned invasion of Ukraine rages on, Belarus is getting ready to deploy troops to help President Vladimir Putin’s war, Washington Post reports.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko are allies. Reports also indicated that troops could leave Belarus for Ukraine as early as Monday, February, 28.

This was disclosed just after a referendum in Belarus approved a new constitution ditching the country’s non-nuclear status – meaning it could potentially host Russian weapons.

Lukashenko is known as Europe’s last dictator, and has been in power since 1994. Most of the international community agrees that he rigs elections to ensure he will win, and in 2020, protesters took to the streets, accusing Lukashenko of stealing the presidential election; thousands were arrested and beaten.

Daily Mail added that Belarusian special forces were seen loading onto airplanes in preparation for an air assault on Kyiv in what could be a widening of the war, military sources stated.

No indication on how many troops nor where they would be deployed was given. The war is solely blamed on Russia and many nations have imposed sanctions on its government and some top personalities.
