In the High Court in Joburg today, 17th of May 2023, for the challenge President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa has brought to the private proseuction former president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma has brought against him. The former president has just arrived at court.
Proceedings have kicked off, with advocate Ngwako Maentje Senior Council for the President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa addressing the court. He’s currently addressing the former president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma’s argument that President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa doesn’t have standing to bring the application in his capacity as President, as opposed to his personal capacity.
The Former president of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma was seen seating next to Economic Freedom Fighters member, Mzwanele Manyi.
