Ukhozi FM explains the reason that made Maskandi presenter BeeKay to not finish his show

Ukhozi FM which is an SABC broadcaster is clarifying the disappearance of Bheka “Beekay” Mchunu, who stopped broadcasting the program “Sigiya Ngengoma” on Saturday afternoon, and Mroza Buthelezi took over to finish the program.

Rumors were all over that Beekay might have been sick again during his show and he was forced to leave the station. Bheka started the program as usual but he stopped in the middle and his colleague Mroza continued. Beekay’s termination shocked many who listened to the show and wrote on social media worried about what was happening.

The source has reported many times about the sickness that the broadcaster is said to have become so severe while on air that he was forced to leave and another colleague came in. Beekay’s illness doesn’t reveal what it is as it overwhelms him when he broadcasts.

One of the listeners who calls himself Nkanyiso on Twitter wrote complaining that Beekay sounded like he was losing his breath while broadcasting on yesterday’s show.

“Brothers, what’s going on with BK Mchunu on the radio, he’s breathing like someone who’s running out of breath on the radio,” said the listener.

His story has become a trending topic on social media, with people looking for answers. SABC spokesperson Gugu Ntuli said that Ukhozi FM was broadcasting in uMzumbe launching a campaign against sexual harassment.

“The SABC can confirm that Ukhozi had a campaign in Mzumbe Municipality, in conjunction with the Prime Minister of KwaZulu-Natal, Mrs. Nomusa Dube Ncube, and where GBV 365 was launched because we believe that gender-based violence cannot be eradicated in 16 days but must be fought every day. As part of the program, Mroza then took over and had an interview with the Prime Minister on Beekay’s Sigiya Ngengoma program, and continued with an interview with the Manager of Khozi FM on the Top 20 program,” explains Gugu Ntuli.

The source tried to call Bheka with no luck until press time .
